It’s funny, when I was younger I thought leadership was all about how to lead others, now I know it’s about the skill of accomplishing the common goal. The conservative leadership meaning is just an ego trip and history shows it has failed over and over; so many examples of empty victories. Self-focused leaders usually lead their teams right off a cliff if they’re not lucky.
